How to Prepare for CTET Exam 

The notification for the CTET exam has been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The notification for CTET was released on 23rd January 2020 for CTET July 2020 exam. The exam is going to take place on 5th July 2020. Those candidates want to crack the exam; they should start their preparation as soon as possible.   • This is important for all the aspirants that they should be aware of the CTET exam pattern 2020. There will be 150 questions of 150 marks. Students will be given 150 minutes during the exam. The exam will be held offline. The question paper will be divided into 5 sections and each section will carry 30 questions. In the CTET exam, there is no negative marking.

  • The second step to continue your preparation is to follow CTET Syllabus. The syllabus will be different for Paper 1 and Paper 2. So, you are advised to cover the entire syllabus of CTET.   • Candidates are advised to start their preparation from scratch. Firstly, mark your weak area in which you take time to cover and then identify the ways of improvement.

  • Focus on the basic concepts, make notes and solve quizzes of each subject. This should be done on a daily basis to improve your performance as well as your speed.
  • Try to make short notes of each topic whatever you learn and read and highlight important points. At the last moment, these notes will help you in revision.
  • Revision is one of the most important steps to memorize the concepts, formulas and important theories.
  • Do practice mock tests regularly; this will help you to know about your progress.
  • Students are advised to attempt all 150 questions in the exam as there is no negative marking.
