RBI Assistant Eligibility 2017: Age Limit & Educational Qualification
Candidates should fulfill the following criteria to apply for RBI Assistant Examination
Age Limit for RBI Assistant Examination
The Minimum age of the candidate should be 20 years and the maximum age is 28 years as on 01st October 2017.
This Eligibility means that the candidate should not be born earlier than 02nd October 1989 and not later than 01 October 1997 in which both the dates are inclusive.
Only, if the candidate is born in between the years mentioned above then only he/she is eligible to apply for RBI Assistant 2017 exam.
There is some age relaxation for the students of RBI Assistant in different categories which are stated below:
||10 Years for Gen, 13 years for OBC & 15 years for SC/ST
||To the extent of service provided by them to Armed Forces+ 3 years additional (Up to 50 Years)
|Divorced women/Widows/Women judicially separated and not re-married
|Candidates who were domiciles in the state of Jammu and Kashmir in between the period 1st January 1980 to 31st December 1989
|Candidates, holding working experience of RBI
||Years of Experience (Maximum 3 years)
Cumulative Age Relaxation will not be available either under the above items or in combination with any other items.
Candidates seeking age relaxation need to submit the copies of necessary certificate(s) at the time of interview.
Educational Qualification Required for RBI Assistant Examination
The Candidate is supposed to have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline as on 01st October 2017 with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on Personal Computer (PC).
If a candidate is belonging to Ex-servicemen category (except dependents of ex-servicemen) then he/she should either be a graduate from a recognized University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence service.
Candidates applying for a post in a recruiting office should be proficient in the language (i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state or any of the states he/she is applying from.
Candidates, those are in the final semester/year of the graduation can also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview/joining, they will have to produce proof of having passed the Graduation Examination on or before 01st October 2017.
Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for the post of RBI Assistant Examination.
Number of Attempts
