Age Limit for RBI Grade B Officer 2019 exam
Age should be in between 21 and 30 years. For candidates possessing M.Phil. and Ph.D. qualification, the upper age limit will be 32 to 34 years respectively. Candidates having experience as an officer in Commercial Bank/ Financial Institution/RBI in Public Sector are given a relaxation in age limit to the extent of the number of years of such experience. It is maximum three years. For such candidates, upper age limit should not be more than 33 years including the experience. For experience, the probationary period will not be reckoned.
There is also relaxation in the upper age limit for RBI Grade B Officer 2017 exam based on the following:

|(vii)||Candidates having work experience in Reserve Bank of India||To the extent of the number of years of such experience, subject to a maximum of 3 years.|
Candidates seeking age relaxation need to submit the copies of necessary certificate(s) at the time of interview.
Educational Qualification for RBI Grade B Officer 2019 exam
Educational Qualifications: Minimum 60% marks (this will be 50% in case of SC/ST/PWD candidate) or grade required to qualify in Bachelor’s degree as well as in 12th and 10th standard examinations of each candidate. The minimum qualifying percentage or the grade equivalent for the Degree of bachelor will be in aggregate for all semesters/years.

Minimum Number of attempts
The number of attempts: Candidates belonging to unreserved i.e. General Category, who had already appeared Six times(applying the seventh time) for Phase-I Examination for this post in the past, are not eligible to apply. No such restriction applies to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates if the posts are reserved for them.
RBI Grade B Officer 2019 Nationality
A candidate must be either:-
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) with of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him/her by the Government of India.
