NABARD Grade A & B 2021 Notification, Apply Online, Eligibility Criteria and Admit Card

Topics Covered: NABARD Grade A & Grade B 2021 Admit Card (Call Letter), Notifications, Application Fee, Vacancies, Steps to Apply Online, Eligibility Criteria, Educational Qualification, Age Limit, Interview Call Letter & Exam Centres (Phase 1 & Phase 2)

During my college days, I once made a solo trip to Leh & Spiti.

Now, you must be wondering why I am telling you all this when you want to know about the NABARD Grade A & B Exams.

Don’t worry. You’ll know as I connect the dots, soon enough.

Anyway, while I was making a booking for the Leh trip, I got to know that they had very few seats, and that they usually got filled very fast. Needless to say, it was really difficult to buy a slot, but thankfully I had gotten through.

Securing the booking ticket was pretty much like securing a qualifying rank in the NABARD Grade A and Grade B exams.

The annual NABARD Grade A & B exams are tough and competition, cut throat. For example, in the 2020 NABARD Grade A exam, there were around 70000 students who had applied against a vacancy of just 69 seats in the RDBS general stream.

Anyway, to get an idea about the number of vacancies released in the NABARD Grade A & Grade B 2021 Notifications, you can read this blog.

Apart from the vacancies, in this blog, I have also mentioned in detail the steps to Apply online for the exams, the NABARD Exam Apply dates, the last date to apply online for NABARD, the Application Fee, the admit card, interview call letters, and the exam centers for the exams.

That said, before you go about applying for the NABARD Grade A & Grade B 2021 exams, you should thoroughly go through the NABARD eligibility criteria that I have written about in this blog, for both exams.

Oh, and I shall also be getting back to my Leh story soon, just keep reading along.

Having said that, let’s get going!!

Now that you know about the NABARD notifications and the vacancies, let me pick up where I had left off on my Leh story.

So, as you know that I was finally able to buy a slot for the Leh trip, even though with great difficulty.

However, after I had finally gotten the slot on time, I came to know that I was not eligible to go for the biking trip unless I had a Royal Enfield bullet, and what I had with me unfortunately a Bajaj Avenger.

Thus, I rented a Royal Enfield for the trip, but by the time I had received it, the Royal Enfield group had already left, so I had to give back the Royal Enfield and tag along with a local group on a bus, like the normal folks. It was heartbreaking then, but now when I look back, I see how fun that trip was.

Anyway, this is the reason why I ask all my students to go through the eligibility criteria before going through vacancies. Not doing so might cause you to have a heartbreak later, like the one I had, as I have mentioned above.

I have seen students who start preparing for the exam and later find out that they are not eligible for the exam. Pretty much similar to me having booked the slot to Leh, only to realize that only Royal Enfield bikes were allowed for the same.

That said I have mentioned the NABARD Grade A education qualifications, age relaxations, and everything related to it below after the Appy online Section.

NABARD Grade A and B 2021 Apply Online

Coming to the topic of NABARD Grade A & B Apply Online 2021, it should be known that it’s a fairly simple process of registering for the NABARD Grade A or/and Grade B exams online. However, even after being so simple, candidates still make a lot of mistakes while applying for the exams. So, you should make sure to take extra care while filling out the NABARD Grade A and/or Grade B online application forms. NABARD Grade A 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The primary eligibility requirements for the NABARD Grade A exam can be broken down into two major categories – Educational Qualification & Age Limit.

The eligibility of NABARD Grade A is not that tough when we compare it with all the other government exams in India.

It gives you a chance to make your dreams come true without judging you on the basis of your past educational qualifications. So let’s jump right in.

NABARD Grade A 2021 Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification

The latest education qualification criteria is as follows:

a) You can apply for only one discipline in NABARD Grade A (RDBS/ Rajbhasha/ P & SS). In case you apply for multiple disciplines, only the last application submitted will be considered valid and fees against all other applications will be forfeited. I have mentioned all the different disciplines in the vacancy section above. Having said that, if you want you can check the NABARD Grade A selection procedure.

b) If your final year/semester results have been declared after 01 July 2021, you are not eligible to apply for the exam.

Post Minimum Education Qualification
General To be eligible for NABARD Grade A, you should have 60% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants - 55%) in Graduation. Many students ask if 60% marks in Graduation should be in each semester or average. Well, relax. It’s an average of all semesters.
OR
You should have an aggregate 55% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants - 50%) in Post-Graduation/MBA/PGDM.
OR
CA/ CS/ICWA OR Ph.D. from Institutions recognized by GOI/UGC.
Equivalent CGPA/ OGPA/ CPI or similar terminologies allotted on a 10 point scale Aggregate % of Marks

5.75 50%
5.25 45%

NABARD Grade A 2021 Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

As per the 2021 age limit criteria, you should be between 21 and 30 years of age as on 01-07-2021 (you must have been born not earlier than 02-07-1991 and not later than 01-07-2000) to be eligible for the exam.

But don’t worry if you don’t come in this age group as NABARD provides certain age limit relaxations.

What are we waiting for?

Let’s dive in

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:

Category Age Relaxation
SC/ST 5 years
Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates 3 years
Ex-servicemen (including Emergency Commissioned Officers/Short Service Commissioned Officers) provided that you have worked for at least five years. 5 years
Emergency Commissioned Officers/Short Service Commissioned Officers who have completed their initial period of assignment of five years of Military Service but whose assignment has been extended beyond five years and in whose case, on selection, the Ministry of Defence issues certificates that they would be released within 03 months from the date of receipt of an offer of appointment. 5 years
Family members of victims died in the1984 riots 5 years
Persons with Disabilities (PWBD) General–10 years
OBC–13 years
SC/ST–15 years

NOTE: No Cumulative age relaxation will be available to any applicant.

I have seen students clear their graduation at the age of 19. If you are one of them, you are not eligible for the NABARD Grade A Exam.

This was all about NABARD Grade A Eligibility Criteria. Now let’s move on to Grade B Eligibility Criteria.

NABARD Grade B 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility of Grade B exam is somewhat similar to that of Grade A exam. The only difference lies in the percentage marks you require.

Since NABARD Grade B is a post higher than NABARD Grade A, so it is obvious that you will require a higher percentage in your Post-Graduation to be eligible for Grade B.

You can apply for Grade B 2021 only if your final year/semester results have been declared on or before 01-07-2021.

NABARD Grade B 2021 Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification

To be eligible for NABARD Grade B you require the following educational qualifications as mentioned in the table below.

Post Minimum Education Qualification
General You require a minimum 60% (SC/PWBD applicants 55%) or equivalent in 10th, 12th, Graduation and Post-Graduate Degree in any subject from any recognized University.
OR
a minimum 60% or equivalent in 10th, 12th, Graduation, PG, and a professional degree, viz., CA/CS/ICWA
OR
a minimum 60% or equivalent in 10th, 12th, Graduation, PG and Ph.D.

Experience: A student is required to have a minimum 03 years’ experience (SC/PWBD – 02 years) in sectors like Banking, Finance, Agriculture & Allied and Rural Development is essential. Experience should be gained after Post graduation.

NABARD Grade B 2021 Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

As per the 2021 age limit criteria, you should be between 25 and 32 years of age as on 01-07-2021 (you must have been born not earlier than 02-07-1989 and not later than 01-07-1996) to be eligible to appear for the exam.

But don’t worry if you don’t come in this age group as NABARD provides certain age limit relaxations.

The relaxations in the upper age limit are exactly the same as the relaxations provided for NABARD Grade A Exam.

I hope that this blog helped you understand all the different aspects of NABARD Grade A & Grade B officer eligibility.

I will take this blog further but before that, I would like to continue my story of Leh. When I was booking a ride for Leh, I realized how expensive it was.

My hobbies were not very pocket-friendly. It was like my 2 month’s income and I was hesitant.

I asked myself “Is it worth it?”.

Indian parents always teach us to save the money we earn and they are not wrong.

I just kept on asking the same question in my head but I realized that this makes me happy and I booked it.

If you have some hobbies which require some money, don’t worry. NABARD will get you covered.

The salary given by NABARD is good enough to cover your daily expenses and enjoy your hobbies once in a while

NABARD Grade A & Grade B 2021 Admit Card

NABARD Grade A and Grade B 2021 Admit Cards have been released by NABARD on its official website on 1st September 2021.

Generally, you get the admit card of the NABARD Grade A and/or Grade B Exam a couple of weeks before the exam date. So, NABARD has followed this pattern this year as well.

NABARD Grade A 2021 Prelims Exam has been scheduled to be conducted on 18th September 2021, and the NABARD Grade B 2021, on 17th September 2021.

The 2021 NABARD Grade A Phase I Admit card was released on the 1st of September 2021. As far as the Grade B Phase 1 admit card goes, it was released on the same day. The Grade A and Grade B Phase 1 Admit cards were available to download on the official website NABARD.

The NABARD Grade A Phase I admit card was available for download till the 18th of September 2021. As for the NABARD Grade B Phase I admit card, it was available for download till the 17th of September 2021.

To download the admit card a candidate had to log in their roll number and date of birth on NABARD’s official website.

That said, the importance of the NABARD Admit card should be known to all. The NABARD Admit card is an important piece of the document without which a candidate will not be allowed to enter the exam center.

Along with the admit card, the candidates also usually need to have a photo-ID proof with themselves.

Also to be noted is that since the results for the NABARD Grade A Phase 1 results had come out on the 14th of October 2021, we can expect the NABARD Grade A phase II admit cards to come out soon.
