Phase III: Interview

Candidates who will be shortlisted in Phase — II (mains examination) will then be called for an Interview (conducted by the Company, at select centres). The details regarding the Interview will be provided to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter.

Some important Points:

  • Each candidate has to obtain a minimum score in each section of Objective test separately so as to be shortlisted for the Descriptive Test evaluation/lnterview (This means that Descriptive answer script would be evaluated only if the candidate qualifies the objective test.) There will also be a separate cut-off for the Descriptive Test.
  • A candidate needs to qualify in the Descriptive Test, but its marks will not be counted towards shortlisting for the interview or final selection.
  • There is a penalty for Wrong answers (both in prelims and mains). For every wrong answer; one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted. There will be no penalty for a question left unanswered.

Final Selection:

The combined final score of candidates will be calculated on the basis of scores obtained in the main examination (Objective and Descriptive Section) and interview. The ratio of Main Examination and Interview is 80:20 respectively. Scores of the candidates who have failed to secure minimum qualifying marks, or are barred from further process may not be disclosed.  nicl recruitment
