What is SEBI Grade A Officer Exam?
SEBI Grade A is the examination for the post of Assistant Manager. SEBI is a regulator of stock markets in INDIA. The work culture of GRADE A officer will revolve around the preamble of SEBI which is to promote the development of stock exchanges, protect the interest of retail investors, regulate the activities of market participants and financial intermediaries.

Candidates should fulfil the following criteria to apply for SEBI Grade A exam.
1) Age Eligibility
A candidate must not have exceeded the age of 30 years as on August 31, 2018 i.e., candidate must have been born on or after September 01, 1988.
2) Educational Qualification [for SEBI Grade A (General)]
- Master’s Degree in any discipline OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law OR
- Chartered Financial Analyst OR
- Cost & Work Accountant OR
- Company Secretary OR
- Chartered Accountant

Phase I Online Examination
An online examination of two hours duration consisting of Multiple Choice questions for 200 marks was held on November 17, 2018.
While the Prelims stage is Objective in character, Mains stage would comprise of the objective as well as descriptive evaluation.
Syllabus – Phase I & II
Phase I For General, Legal, Information Technology and Engineering Stream comprises following sections :
i) General Awareness
ii) English Language
iii) Quantitative Aptitude
iv) Reasoning Aptitude
v) Awareness about Securities Market
Phase II comprises three Papers.
